THE SNOW SHOW: 2004

Overview

Working in collaboration with the Snow Show team and the Finnish Tourist Board, we developed an energetic UK communications and marketing strategy to promote the Snow Show exhibition in Finnish Lapland. This involved organising a press launch at the Finnish Embassy, engaging VIP visitors to the exhibition, including the Tate Patrons group, arranging a series of events to complement the launch, and generating wide reaching press coverage both in the UK and internationally.  For those unable to travel to Lapland, we devised a symposium about the project in conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects in London.

The Snow Show was curated by Lance Fung with the aim of bringing together ephemeral structures made out of snow and ice by world-renowned artists and architects such as Cai Guo-Qiang and Zaha Hadid, Tatsuo Miyajima and Tadao Ando, and Eva Rothschild and Anamorphisis.
